Red Hot Applesauce

- 10 Apples
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Red Hots more or less depending on how spicy you want it.
Wash and rinse the apples.
Peel and core the apples.
Remove the skin of the apple.
Place the slices in the crockpot first.
Next add a 1/2 cup of water, followed by a 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
Place slow cooker on high heat for about 3 to 4 hours.
After about 3 to 4 hours it will start to look like a very chunky applesauce.
Stir in the red hots and turn to low heat. Allow to sit for about 15 minutes.
You can either leave your applesauce really chunky or use a food processor to get it to the desired consistency.
