Inside: Love to shop online? Check out these money saving hacks you need to know before shopping on Amazon. It can help you save lots!
I love shopping on Amazon. Their prices are often lower than the prices in the store. Plus they get delivered to my house, and I get to read tons of reviews on the product before I buy.
I especially love buying things like dog food, batteries, and furnace filters on Amazon. They can be set up to come every couple of months. When they show up I know its time to change the batteries in my smoke detector or filter in my furnace.
I am always excited when I can find new ways to save even more money on Amazon. If you like to shop on Amazon, or want to start, check out these money saving hacks you need to know before shopping on Amazon.
Use Coupons
Amazon offers coupons so you can save even more. You can always find the latest coupons by going to Amazon and clicking on Today's Deals and then coupons.
Just click on clip coupon if you see one you like and then it will automatically come off when you checkout. I have used this feature before and it is so easy!
Ebates
Ebates is a cash back program that rewards you for shopping online. You can earn up to 40% cash back on what you spend by using Ebates. Think Ibotta for online shopping. You don’t save the money when you check out. You get money back in the form of a check or Paypal. You can use ebates with Amazon to save even more money on Amazon. Most things you buy on Amazon will give you 3% cash back. You can see all the details of Ebates here.
Save On Slow Shipping
If you aren't in a big hurry to get your stuff and are an Amazon Prime member you can save by choosing no-rush shipping. I use this and can often save a dollar or two.
When you go to check out just choose the free no-rush shipping instead of the two-day shipping. You will receive your reward after your order ships.
CamelCamelCamel
Want to know if you are getting a good deal on Amazon? Then check out Camel Camel Camel. Janeen from Loving Littles tipped me off to it and I love it!
Just go to CamelCamelCamel and type in what product you are interested in. It will show you the highs and lows of what the pricing has been. Then you can let CamelCamelCamel notify you when it reaches the price you want. It's great for Black Friday Shopping.
Get a Month of Prime
If you don't want to pay for a whole year of Amazon Prime just get it for a month. Amazon now has the option to purchase Prime month to month.
This is very helpful around the holidays. You can start Prime around Mid-November and use it during the holidays to take advantage of the best deals and free shipping. It's one of my favorite money saving hacks you need to know before shopping on Amazon.
Subscribe and Save
You can often save money on those items you regularly use by using subscribe and save. With dog food, I can save 10% on each bag by using the subscribe and save feature. You could use this on things like toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent. If you find that you are ordering the same things over again on Amazon check out the subscribe and save.
With a little bit of time, you can save big on Amazon. What money saving hacks for Amazon do you have?
