Growing up my sister and I loved to make this marshmallow fruit dip. I remember during summer we would whip up a bowl with some strawberries. I think we would usually go through the whole bowl in a day. It quickly became an easy side dish for me to bring to barbeques and summer parties. It's so easy to make up a batch and people always love it. If you have 5 minutes, marshmallow cream, and cream cheese you can make it today.
There are only two ingredients in the marshmallow fruit dip, so it is so simple to make it. You will need a 8 oz. container of cream cheese, softened. Put it in a bowl with a 7 oz. a container of marshmallow cream. Mix together until all of the lumps are gone from the dip. I like to use an immersion blender to get it really light and fluffy. Once all the lumps are gone and it is nice and smooth you can serve it.
It goes perfectly with strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe and pineapples. It pretty much tastes like a rich, creamy cheesecake dip. This marshmallow fruit dip is great to make for any summer parties because your guests will love it. Plus, kids will happily eat their fruit if they can have some fruit dip with it.
It does need to be refrigerated, so don't let it sit out for hours unless you have it on ice. It usually doesn't last that long at our house. 🙂 With just a few minutes time and two ingredients you can make a delicious fruit dip just perfect for summer.
