Most of these apps are free on the app store. They are so easy to use and they don't take a lot of time.
Keep an eye on your bank accounts and save money at the grocery store with these best money saving apps.
Ibotta
Ibotta is by far my favorite money-saving app. You just choose what store you are shopping at and then can pick the offers you want.
Purchase the items and take a picture of the receipt. Once you reach a $5 balance you can have it deposited in your PayPal account or choose gift cards for Starbucks, iTunes, or Regal Theaters.
The best part is that Ibotta can be used with coupons to save even more money. I often find items free or cheap when I use a coupon and Ibotta.
Checkout 51
Checkout 51 is a great app that you can use anywhere. They have new offers every Thursday and you have until the following Wednesday to purchase those items.
Often they have offers like $.50 off bananas or $.25 off Tomatoes. I love using this app with the sales at Aldi.
It can make for a great deal on produce. Plus, just like Ibotta, you can use this with coupons.
Once you buy the products you take a picture of the receipt. When your balance reaches $20 they will mail you a check.

Bank Apps
One of the best apps you can have on your phone is your bank account app.
Most banks now have a free app that you can use to access all your bank accounts. Everything from your savings accounts to your checking accounts are all there for easy access.
Never worry about what the balance is again with your bank information on your phone.
Note: Of course, you will want to make sure you have a locked screen if you have this information on your phone.
Shopmium
Shopmium is one of the newer money-saving apps out there. But with all the great offers they have they are quickly becoming very popular.
If you haven't signed up yet you can use the code GMGYKUPE you can get a free Lindt Chocolate bar. Their offers are often for $1 or more so stacked with coupons and sales you can get free items.
You can use Shopmium at just about any store. When you get $5 in your account you can have it deposited in a PayPal account.
Every Dollar
I am a huge Dave Ramsey fan so of course I would recommend Every Dollar.
If you are just getting started with budgeting this is a great app to use. It is free to set up an account and easy to use.
I love that you can fully customize your budget and that you can start to see where you are overspending.
You can check out Every Dollar here.
Benefits of Using Money-Saving Apps
One of the best benefits of using money-saving apps isn't just saving money. Obviously, that's a big one, but there are far more advantages.
- Saving time
- Staying organized
- Always have the information with you
- Access everything all in one place!
I love using each of these apps to save money. It only takes a minute or two at the end of each shopping trip to use shopping apps. The bank and budget planning apps are there for me to see every day so I can track my expenses.
