Anyone else ever come home from grocery shopping and wonder where you are even going to put the food? My fridge always seems so full, yet there is never "any food in the house" according to my teenager. It's so easy for the fridge to get stuffed full of things, leftovers lost in the back and expired condiments. If you are constantly losing things in your fridge check out these genius ways to organize your fridge.
Use Bins
Pick up a couple bins from the dollar store and you can organize your fridge quickly and easily. I love having a bin for my kiddo's lunch items and for snack items. It makes the fridge look cleaner and my son knows during summer he can grab anything from the snack bin to eat.
We also have bins for yogurt and one for cheese sticks. I have these that I bought on Amazon. It's one of my favorite refrigerator organization tips.
Use an Egg Container For Condiments
I love this idea to use an old egg container to store condiment bottles upside down! It keeps your condiments ready to go. No more crazy shaking to get the last bit out. If you don't want to use an old egg container you can always pick up a plastic one that can be easily washed. It's an easy way to organize your fridge on the side doors.
Use Old Tupperware for Small Items
Store all your small items like packets of ketchup or salad dressing packets in a small Tupperware. It keeps everything close together and you don't have to worry about a ketchup packet falling and getting squished. Whenever you go to pack lunches it is easy to grab some small packets.
Organize With Clear Containers
Use clear Tupperware to store food in so you can easily see what is in them. If your kids are anything like mine they won't take the time to open up a food container to see what is inside. It helps you know at a glance what you have in the fridge. It's an easy switch to help you organize your fridge.
These are my favorite containers for leftovers. They are a little more expensive than the standard containers but they make it so easy to see the food. I am throwing out less and less since we made the switch to these containers.
Use Smaller Drawers
If you don't like the idea of using bins you can get these smaller drawers that just slide right on a fridge shelf. It makes it easy to separate out things like cheese sticks, yogurt, and applesauce.
Use a Dry Erase Sticker for Leftovers
Don't let those leftovers go missing by using a dry erase sticker. I have a small stick on dry erase board that I keep on my fridge. I add what is for dinner and what leftovers we have currently in the fridge. I have found that we are way more likely to eat the leftovers when I take the time to write them on the dry erase board. It's a constant reminder of what to eat first and keeps the leftovers from getting lost in the back.
Pop in a Lazy Susan
A lazy susan is a great way to keep things organized and accessible in the fridge. No more disappearing to the back of the fridge. If you don't already have a lazy susan you can even make your own for easy fridge organization. I love this dollar store lazy susan hack from The Country Chic Cottage. It's perfect for all the salad dressing in your fridge.
Use Clips to Hang Bags
Don’t let cheese bags and lunchmeat bags disappear in your fridge. You can easily use clips to hang them so you can see them. It’s easy and saves you time. Another idea instead of clipping them up there is this bag storage system. You can attach it to your door to save space and easily see what you have.
With just a few tips you can get your fridge organized and clean. No more mystery meat or expired food. What is your favorite tip to organize your fridge?

The egg carton for condiments is very creative!!! My favorite fridge tip is to keep the fruits and veggies on the top shelf so I don't forget about them in the crisp drawers! Thanks for sharing all these tips. 🙂
